Redoto Rescue

Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 October 2026 · version 2026-10-18Status: draft — in preparation

These Terms of Use are a working draft published for transparency; they are not yet final and may change before they take effect. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

These Terms of Use govern the use of the Redoto Rescue web platform and mobile application (the “Platform”) by members of search and rescue organizations. By accepting them at registration or sign-in you agree to follow them.

The Platform is provided by Nemanja Andjelkovic; the organization that deploys it decides who gets an account and what they may do with it.

1. Purpose of the Platform

The Platform supports membership, search and rescue missions, trainings, equipment, vehicles, loans, documents and communication within an organization. It is a supporting tool: decisions in the field are made by the organization’s authorised people, and the Platform does not replace official emergency channels (e.g. 112 / 194).

2. Your account

  • An account is created only on the invitation of an organization administrator.
  • The account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your password, PIN and NFC card safe and for everything done under your account.
  • Report a lost card or suspected misuse to an administrator without delay; you can revoke the card yourself in your profile.
  • Profile data must be accurate and current, in particular the emergency contact and the health details relevant to safety in the field.

3. Acceptable use

It is not permitted to:

  • use the Platform for purposes unrelated to the organization’s work;
  • access data of other members, missions or organizations without authorisation, or copy and share it outside the Platform;
  • enter data about third parties (missing persons, victims) that is not necessary for the search, or publish it outside the organization;
  • upload content that breaks the law, infringes others’ rights or contains malicious code;
  • try to circumvent protections, scrape data automatically or disrupt the Platform.

A breach may lead to suspension or closure of the account by the organization.

4. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The controller is your organization; Redoto Rescue is the processor.

5. Availability and changes

The Platform is provided on a best-effort availability basis. Maintenance is announced where possible; urgent interventions may interrupt service temporarily. Features may change, be added or removed; the modules available depend on the organization’s licence.

6. Intellectual property

The Platform, its code, design and the Redoto Rescue name are protected by intellectual property law. Content entered by organizations and members remains theirs; the Platform receives only the right to process it in order to provide the service.

7. Liability

Redoto Rescue is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of data in the Platform, for the accuracy of data entered by members, for the users’ network and devices, or for damage caused by force majeure. Liability is in any case limited to the extent permitted by law.

8. Termination

You can delete your own account in your profile (“Delete my account”); the organization may deactivate or delete a member’s account when membership ends. The provisions on data and liability survive termination.

9. Changes to these Terms

The Terms may change; every version carries a date. You will be told about material changes at sign-in and asked to accept them.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applying where relevant. Disputes are resolved before the competent court in Belgrade. Contact: [email protected].
